March Class - Perfect Polka Dot Butterfly & Pillow Box Set

Perfect Polka Dot Butterfly Card & Pillow Box with Belly Band Set

Whew - that is one descriptive name for this class set, lol!

But what a fabulous set to swing into Spring with!  This class is a dynamic one because of all the thrilling things we get to do with the Big Shot!.....embossing with Polka Dots using our Simple Impressions Folder, embellishing with beautiful Butterflies and a small favour box a la Pillow Box!

Then, using our newest punch - Scallop Border - it all comes together!  Also features our latest scroll greeting & clear stamps......and some Sale-A-Bration paper too.  Lots of goodies here.  One greeting is for Easter! You can have the option of switching greetings for the sets - versatility is the theme!

Because...I designed this theme to give you two very different looks to demonstrate how versatile our products can be when you mix it up with different colours!

So we have a Shabby Chic look in the lavender & white with a dash of orange.  And look at the Swiss Dots - they remind me here of those bedspreads my Aunts would have used many years ago, if any of you have had the same experience. So very quaint!  My daughter came up with the idea of using the leaf stem as the antenna for the butterflies - clever girl!

Then, to mix it up - how about a more daring style with hot pink and black!  I might be tempted to call it Miami Chic, lol!  Not to give it away, but there is a surprise inside the card - keep you guessing!

So come and enjoy these - you make a 2 sets (1 card + pillow box = 1 set)  each for the class. That will give you the option of having 4 separate items to give away, or 2 sets for 2 special people - or just leave them displayed in your home for others to admire.

Fun with Tags!

That is exactly what I had with this tag.....amongst all the oodles of cards I am making for a craft fair coming up, I am taking breaks by making projects that use all kinds of different elements.  Sort of like a cardstock 'stew', lol.                                                          Cute  Gift Tag or Notecard TAG BASE  1. First, I started with a small piece of cardstock of 3 x 6 inches, folded to create a square 3 x 3 inch tag. 2.  I layered a BAJA BREEZE cardstock square on top of the tag - I used my SCALLOP TRIM CORNER PUNCH to create the pretty corners! 3. To rev it up a bit, I glittered the bottom of the tag with some of Dazzling Diamonds. TAG DECORATION 4. I stamped  my lil' WALRUS  on a punched out '1-3/4 in.' Circle  of Whisper White cardstock  - then while I "maske...

Beautiful Birthday Card from my Daughter

I was ' speechless ' on my birthday when my daughter presented me with her own hand-made card for me! Reason is that when we got up that morning we were in each other's company and yet somehow she managed to sneak off into my craft room and pull this together without me knowing it - - I was totally caught off guard, lol -- and loved it!!! She has always impressed me with her creativity because she doesn't do hand-craft items very often - she is more of an 'online creator' - I have her to thank for all my web banners and general blog technical help :) I was happy to see the cute butterfly resting on the branch, that is something I would not of thought of! Anyways, it was a lovely gesture and a thoughtful card. Beverly SUPPLIES LIST  Stampin' Up!   Eastern Bloom and Kindred Spirit stamp sets. Bella Rose  Designer Paper Pink Pirouette cardstock.

Shabby Chic Cookie Cutter Card

Hey everyone!   Today I am blogging about the card I made in the middle of the night, lol.  It started with the idea that I wanted to use the bear from Stampin' Up!'s Cookie Cutter bundle set {stamp and punch}.  My intended recipient loves bears and I was dying to do a shabby chic style card, so voila!  Some details: I dyed a piece of white satin ribbon using ink. Ink refills {liquids} are so helpful to create co-ordinating materials for your projects. Soft sponging of paler colours help to frame your main more colourful image. Add more details by layering accents such as my poinsettias and label.   Here is one of the  embossing powders from the Stampendous Fran-tage line called ' Shabby White '. See how bubbly and glittery it is?   There it is - I love doing soft colours paired with white for pretty styled christmas cards!!!  Hope everyone is having a safe and enjoyable holiday season this year, cheers!
